Lakemba Ramadan Nights

27 Feb - 30 Mar

Lakemba Ramadan Nights

The Lakemba Nights during Ramadan will take place from 27 February to 30 March, bringing a vibrant celebration to the community. This year, the festival will run every Thursday through Sunday, between 6pm and 2am, offering attendees a variety of cultural experiences, food, and entertainment.

To accommodate the event and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, City of Canterbury-Bankstown Council will be putting in place road closures along Haldon Street and The Boulevarde from 4pm to 4am, Thursday to Sunday. These measures are essential for managing traffic flow and pedestrian safety during the festival’s peak hours.

Visitors are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly and make use of public transport or alternative parking arrangements.

Special event parking conditions will also be in effect at The Lakemba Club Car Park from Thursday to Sunday, operating from 7pm to 1am. These conditions aim to prioritise access for eligible patrons.

Access to The Lakemba Club Car Park during festival hours will be restricted to Silver Tier Members and above, who will be permitted entry between 7pm and 1am on designated event nights. Black Tier Members with a valid disabled car sticker permit will also be allowed to enter.

To maintain security and order at The Lakemba Club Car Park, a security guard will be stationed at the car park from 7pm until 12am. To keep festival-goers informed, an LED message board will be positioned just outside the car park entrance, displaying relevant parking details.

“These measures are in place to facilitate a safe and organised parking experience for all attendees during the Lakemba Nights,” said Chris Taylor, Venue Manager of The Lakemba Club.
