Jenny is a familiar face around The Lakemba Club after having worked there for over seven years, first behind the now-defunct Lakemba bistro counter and currently as a café attendant.
What’s the best thing about working in Lakemba?
I love the atmosphere of the club; it’s small enough that everyone knows everybody and gives it that really friendly vibe. I also enjoy working with other staff members, we are like one big family.
What’s your favourite thing to eat off the café menu?
Definitely the Fish & Chips and it’s really popular with our patrons too.
If you had superpowers what would they be?
I’d want to have the type of superpower that would help me change the world to be a better place.
If you won the Lotto what would you do with it?
I’ve always told my son that I’ll donate half of it to charity and use the rest to travel the world. I hope to keep that promise to my son!
