Remembrance Day 2019

This year marks the 101st Anniversary of the Armistice signing which marks the ending of World War One.

It is at this time that both Australia and New Zealand pause to recognise the loss that these two nations experienced due to the Great War.

The Lakemba Club will reflect on the losses that the war has caused during the past century. Meaning there is an obligation from young Australians to pursue world peace. And as proud people of these two great Nations, we will always remember them.

On behalf of The Lakemba Club, we invite you to the community. You’re welcome to join us for the Remembrance Day Commemoration to acknowledge the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for us today.

All patrons are welcome to attend the Remembrance Day service from 11 am Monday, November 11th
