Recent patrons to the club might have noticed construction happening next door – work is currently in progress to build a new club car park with approximately 50 spaces.
Chris Taylor, Venue Manager of The Lakemba Club, said the project is expected to be finished by early 2023 and will provide patrons with secure onsite parking; an alternative to the time restricted existing council and street parking
Over the past several weeks, heavy machinery has been clearing and levelling the site to prepare it for road base and paving.
“We are very excited to finally have a car park for our Members and guests. Even considering all the wet weather that we have been having, progress is still going strong and we can’t wait to unveil the new car park early next year“ said Chris.
