The main objectives of the Lakemba Services Social Club is to carry on a social club for the ex-servicemen and women who are members of the Lakemba RSL Sub-Branch. To provide advice on veteran’s pensions and welfare matters. To assist in the holding of ceremonies and functions on ANZAC Day, ANZAC Sunday and Armistice Day.
Membership to the Lakemba Services Social Club is open to anyone wanting to join up – the annual membership fee is $10.00 and must be paid in advance by January 31 for the upcoming year. New members must also be members of the Canterbury League Club.
The Social Club hosts two functions each year as well as an annual group outing for its members to mingle with each other.
